The chances of Chinese sprinters winning medals at the 2012 London Olympic Games may have just improved, as they could get tutelage from the Jamaican track and field coach, who nurtured sprint king Usain Bolt, visiting Jamaican Prime Minister Bruce Golding said in Beijing.

"We do have some expertise in athletics," Golding, 62, said on Wednesday night in Villa 18, dubbed the "presidential villa", of the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in west Beijing. "In my meeting with Premier Wen Jiabao I offered to lend our capabilities in terms of coaches."

"For the next Olympics, perhaps we will see China not only dominate gymnastics", Golding said, but also make headway in 100 and 200 meters track events.
