SHANGHAI: A judge in Jinhua city of Zhejiang province is facing trial for embezzlement and bribery following investigations over a sex tape of him.

The case of Guo Jian, 41, a vice-director of the Supervision and Inspection Division of the Wucheng district court, was handed over to the Deqing County Prosecutors' Office in Huzhou on Wednesday and will be prosecuted soon, the Qianjiang Evening News reported yesterday.

Important criminal cases in the country are tried at different cities to avoid any negative influences on judgment.
