Deng Yaping, the most successful and famous table-tennis player in China, were receiving the gold medal from Samaranch the president of IOC of that time. After retirement, Deng became  the china's first member of Laureus World Sports Academy

  Liu Guoliang after his winnig in the 45th table-tennis championship. Liu is the first china's male player who gathered the three golds of Olympic, World Championships and World Cup. in 2003,Liu took up the post of the cheif coach of national table-tennis team, also become the youngest one of history.
