Liao started selling salted duck eggs online in 2015. The eggs she sells have been well-received and sales have grown rapidly. But there were problems. Due to the relatively long processing period of the salted duck eggs which were collected from individual villagers, the supply gradually fell short of the increasing demand. To address the problem, the local government founded a cooperative in the name of Liao in late 2015 to help villagers sell farm produce including the eggs. [Photo/VCG]
