Eight-year-old Song Liuchen from a village in Shangqiu city, Henan province, has been suffering from epidermolysis bullosa (EB), a skin disease, since he was born. The skin blisters and festers after it is touched. EB is a rare disease and babies who are diagnosed with it usually do not survive beyond two years.
