Lucky rock

Beijing-based China University of Political Science and Law is at the center of attention for purchasing a huge rock from Mount Taishan in East China's Shandong province as a school head explains that the rock symbolizes a wish for a solid judicial system in China. The cost of 15,000 yuan ($2,451) to purchase and transport the rock was ridiculed by online users as superstitious.

False Harvard ad

A Chinese student at Harvard University exposed the false advertising of a study agent, who used her fame and image to promote business. The establishment in South China's Guangdong province, which helps high school students go study abroad, deceptively claimed that Xiang studied there before being admitted into Harvard, and posted someone else's photo on its promotion posts claiming to be her. The picture shows Xiang talking to the head of the agency, who can't recognize her at all.
