Philippines sends hostage report to China

MANILA - Philippine President Benigno Aquino III said Monday the fact-finding report on last month's hostage crisis has been given to Chinese embassy officials.

Aquino said that the report, prepared by Incident Investigation and Review Committee (IIRC), will hopefully mend the country's stained relations with China following the bungled hostage rescue attempt that left eight tourists from Hong Kong dead.
