Anti-graft chief urges clean governance at grassroots

NANCHANG: China's anti-graft chief He Guoqiang on Sunday urged nationwide grassroot units to strengthen the construction of clean and honest governance with the spirit of reform and innovation to obtain the people's trust and benefit the people.

He, secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of CPC Central Committee, made the remarks at a symposium held in Jingdezheng City of east China's Jiangxi Province on Sunday.

"The construction of clean and honest governance should be strengthened in rural areas, enterprises, schools, public institutions and urban communities to address prominent issues," He said.
