Six killed, 19 injured in E China truck-coach collision

HEFEI:Six people were killed and 19 others were injured after a coach collided with a truck on Friday in east China's Anhui Province, local government officials said.

The accident occurred at 4:28 p.m. at an intersection on a national highway in Huainan City, when a truck collided with a coach, killing six and injured 19, including one seriously, said an official of the local government.

He said the truck overturned and its windows shattered. But he did not say how many were onboard the coach.

The cause of the accident is under investigation, he said.
