Coal chemistry factory blast in NW China kills 3

URUMQI - Three people have been killed in a coal chemistry factory blast in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region as of 9 am Wednesday, local officials said.

The accident occurred at about 11:12 pm Tuesday in the western suburb of the region's capital Urumqi, in a coal chemistry factory belonging to the the 12th Agriculture Division of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.
