Liu Ye, born on March 23, 1978, is a Chinese actor. Early in 2001, Liu won Best Actor at the 38th Golden Horse Awards for his performance as a young homosexual man in the movie "Lan Yu." He has since collected numerous national and international awards as a lead actor. He married French photographer Anais Martane in Beijing on July 5, 2009. Their son Nuoyi was born on Oct 10, 2010, and their daughter Nina followed on Jan 22, 2012. The family is considered a rolemodel in showbiz.
