Mi is a webcasting anchor for a company in Zhengzhou. Before the young woman worked in this job, she was a dancer.

Some people think webcasting anchors can become a celebrity easily and can get rich overnight. However, she said getting rich is not so easy. Most anchors are same to regular white-collar workers, their salary can only support themselves, she said.

Because some webcasters live-stream what amounts to pornography and other illegal content, people don't think it is a good job. The girl doesn't agree with this view, she said. Her company doesn't allow anchors to wear overly-sexy clothes, do any crass activities or spread illegal content.
