Wanda Group wins the bid for a plot of land located at 9900 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. Wanda plans to invest $1.2 billion to construct a mixed-use development. Wanda beat more than 10 bidders from Asia and North America for the project.

Wanda Group purchases the upscale Jewel project in Australia's Gold Coast. Wanda will jointly develop the project with its original owners. The company plans to build a luxury five-star Wanda Vista hotel and serviced apartments.
