China and the US signed an agreement in Beijing Wednesday to increase information sharing between government agencies on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, Bloomberg reported.?

The nations aim to enhance information exchanges on developments and significant changes in competition policy and law, according to the memorandum of understanding signed by the US Federal Trade Commission, the US Department of Justice, China's National Development and Reform Commission, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, and China's State Administration for Industry and Commerce.
