CNPC to build more pipelines

The State-owned China National Petroleum Corp will more than double its oil and gas pipeline construction in the coming years, a company newspaper reported on Monday.

The parent of PetroChina plans to lay 64,000 kilometers of oil and gas pipes from 2011 to 2015, much more than the 27,000 kilometers built from 2006 to 2010, the China Petroleum Daily said.
