HONG KONG -- Hong Kong stocks gained 36.01 points, or 0.16 percent, to close at 23,199.39 on Friday.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 23,147.42 and 23,242.63. Turnover totaled HK$57.75 billion ($7.43 billion).
