China's stocks up 0.25% after 4 days of losses

Chinese equities close higher Thursday after four days of losses, led by tourism-related and technology-related shares.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.25 percent, or 7.53 points, to close at 2,994.14 points.

Combined turnover totaled 147.96 ?billion yuan ($21.76 billion), shrinking from 154.13 billion yuan on the previous trading day.
Losers outnumbered gainers by 141 to 715 in Shanghai and 182 to 665 in Shenzhen.
