China Shipping Dev says to set up LNG shipping JV

China Shipping Development Co said on Tuesday that it would set up a joint venture to ship liquefied natural gas (LNG) with the parent of Petrochina.

"We will publish a related statement tomorrow," China Shipping Development spokesman Ma Guoqiang said, declining to give details in line with exchange rules.

Trading in shares of China Shipping Development in Hong Kong and Shanghai was suspended on Tuesday, pending the announcement.
