Top steel makers form joint venture

Four of China's top five steel makers - Wuhan Iron and
Steel Group Corp, Baosteel, Shougang Group, and Anshan Steel Co Ltd - formed a
joint venture on Wednesday to develop overseas iron ore resources. Wuhan holds
50 percent of the joint venture, Baosteel has 20 percent while Shougang and
Anshan share the rest.
