Shanghai shares likely to decline this week

China United Telecommunications Corporation Ltd, the second-largest mobile operator in the nation, closed at 4.55 yuan on Friday with a daily loss of 1.09 percent. The company eased 2.15 percent last week.

Weighted lenders also lost ground. Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Co Ltd fell 4.17 percent to 22.54 yuan on Friday. The Shanghai-based lender posted a combined two percent loss for the week.

TheBank of China, the country's second largest lender by assets, withdrew 2.58 percent last week to 4.54 yuan after losing 1.3 percent on Friday.

Industrial & Commercial Bank of China, China's largest lender, shed 0.62 percent to 4.79 yuan last week. It fell 1.03 percent on Friday.
