 China on Jan 7 awarded licenses for 3G mobile networks to three telephone operators, paving the way for investments of around 280 billion yuan in network upgradation over the next two years.
China will support eleven national research programs with at least 62.8 billion yuan in one and half year to achieve breakthroughs in key technology development.
