Geely Auto has revealed another compact sport utility vehicle -- the Vision X6, a sister to the Emgrand Boyue, but priced a bit lower -- at a special event it held in 100 cities across the country, on Aug 28.

The car maker has used the Geely ripple design for the v-shape front grille that connects directly to the LED day-time running lights, but displaying a new identity.

The new car come in six models with two power-train options to choose from -- a 1.3-liter turbocharged engine with continuous variable transmission, or a 1.8-liter natural aspiration with manual gear box. There is also a 3,000-yuan cash discount for buyers of the 1.8-liter model, while the 1.3-liter turbocharged model is eligible for a government tax deduction.

The air bags for the front seats are standard on every model and the 1.8L model comes with two side air bags, while the top 1.3T model comes with two additional air curtains together with side air bags. The car also has an electronic stability program (ESP) and an anti-locking brake system (ABS).
