Other innovations include the SYNC and MyFord Touch, a highly integrated in-car information platform consisting of a hands-free multimedia driver information and navigation system with voice-recognition capability that promises to redefine human-car interaction.

In addition, the Park Assist system can make parking in a congested city easy with a few simple steps.  

Power performance

All versions of the new Mondeo are powered by the EcoBoost GTDi turbocharged engine.

Capable of delivering incredible power, the engine also promises excellent fuel economy and an overall better driving experience than the competition.

The model has two engine options - 1.5 liter or 2 liter.

The 1.5L GTDi engine is the latest of Ford's EcoBoost series. This is the first time that a 1.5L engine has been used in one of Ford's premium mid-range cars. The engine delivers a maximum output of 133 kilowatts and peak torque of 240 nanometers.

The 2L engine produces a maximum output of 178 kW and top torque of 350 Nm. The comprehensive fuel consumption is 7.9L/100km.

The model is equipped with a SelectShift six-speed integrated transmission, which allows for smoother gear shifting and improved fuel economy.
