Neusoft Medical Systems Co Ltd, a Chinese leading medical application and services provider, announced the launch on Friday of NeuViz 128 Computed Tomography, a high-end CT independently researched and developed by the company, in Shenyang, capital of Liaoning province.

Meanwhile, two sets of the new equipment were exported to South Asia and North Africa.

"The new products have won orders from Europe, the United States and South America," said Jiang Genmiao, president of Neusoft Medical.

NeuViz 128 is the first 128-layer CT in China with proprietary intellectual property rights, and represents China's highest-level CT equipment, according to Jiang.

Founded in 1998, Neusoft Medical is a wholly owned subsidiary of Neusoft Corp, which is the largest IT solutions & services provider in China. Its products include a wide portfolio, including CT, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound, PET (Positron Emission Tomography), Linear Accelerator, and Biochemistry Analyzer. Currently, Neusoft Medical's products have been exported to more than90 nations and regions around the world, serving more than 5,000 customers.
