Bayer CropScience China opened its new Seed Treatment Application Center (STAC) on November 10th. This is the 7th STAC of Bayer CropScience worldwide. Following its position as the sole distributor of Chemtura seed treatment products in China, Bayer CropScience is ready to further rely on its strong seed treatment competency and enriched portfolio to better serve seed customers, improve seed value and contribute to the sustainable development of Chinese agriculture.

Located in Beijing's Haidian Zhong Guan Cun Dong Sheng Hi-tech Zone, this STAC is equipped with state-of-the-art seed treatment equipment. With many years of operational experience in the Chinese market, along with expertise from the other 6 STACs worldwide, Bayer CropScience's Beijing STAC is set to be the link between seed treatment product research and market development and seed companies, providing solutions in recipe support, customer service, technical training and quality control. For example, the STAC will allow tailor-made seed treatment solutions according to different infestation levels; collating machines and designing seed treatment system; and conducting seed-related tests.
