At the Nanning Youth Activity Center, Brazilian musicians performed Chinese songs alongside children dressed in traditional local ethnic costumes. The musicians played and sang as the children added harmonies, their instruments and voices blending into a warm melody.
Gondim said she was deeply moved by the children's dedication and the audience's enthusiastic response. "It made us feel close right away," she added.
Violinist Bruna Zurmele recalled how quickly the children learned Brazilian rhythms during rehearsals. "One young boy even picked up a hand drum and joined us on stage, keeping perfect time with the samba beats," she said. "That moment really stayed with me."
