Konanykhina expressed her excitement after the competition, "This medal is very important for me. I am happy to see my flag here. Because last year I competed in the status of a neutral athlete, now I am for the Russian Federation."
In the three-day Super Final, China has bagged all seven golds so far, and the last two events of the women's 3m springboard and the men's 10m platform will take place at the National Aquatics Center in Beijing on Sunday.
