Think tank scholars and media professionals from ASEAN member states joined their Chinese counterparts on Tuesday in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, for a field visit and exchange centered around smart digital services.

The delegation included members from Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam, and Myanmar. They experienced firsthand China's dynamic practices in advancing human rights through digital and intelligent technologies.

In the morning, they visited Hangzhou Future Sci-Tech City, which has become a reservoir for top talent, innovation, and the commercialization of research outcomes. Its efforts to refine the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem have driven an impressive average annual growth rate of nearly 39 percent in corporate revenue and tax contributions.
