Voyah, the new energy vehicle brand under Dongfeng Motor, has accelerated product launches, aiming to strengthen its foothold in the fiercely competitive global NEV sector.

The latest of its lineup is the 2026 Dream MPV. Launched on Monday, it secured over 10,000 orders within just 18 hours of its release.

The new Dream MPV offers plug-in hybrid and pure electric power train options, and advanced driver-assist systems by Voyah's self-developed Kunpeng and Huawei's Qiankun.

This launch is integral to Voyah's broader strategic layout, which includes a planned listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and efforts to refine its financing.

Since July, Voyah has maintained intensive product launches, rolling out one model per month. This pace underscores the brand's ambition to expand its market reach and cater to the diverse demands of modern consumers.

Facing this tight schedule, Shao Mingfeng, Voyah's chief brand officer and general manager of Voyah sales company, said that sales are under significant strain. "Our order volume has surged eightfold, while test drive requests have tripled," Shao noted.

Voyah has expanded its sales team by 40 percent, and its manufacturing facilities are operating overtime to ensure timely deliveries.

These efforts have yielded results: the brand's monthly deliveries exceeded 13,500 units in August, with cumulative deliveries from January to August surpassing 80,000 units, a 92 percent year-on-year growth.

Voyah's product competitiveness has also fueled a spike in market attention. After details about its upcoming models — the Passion L sedan and Taishan large SUV —were revealed, traffic on the brand's official social media accounts multiplied by 50.

Lu Fang, CEO of Voyah, emphasized the brand's opposition to price wars in the NEV industry in an interview after the launch event.

"We are committed to reasonable pricing and sustainable profitability to ensure long-term business growth," Lu said.

"As a brand under a State-owned enterprise, Voyah also bears social responsibilities. We aim to drive high-quality development of the NEV sector, rather than engaging in destructive price competition that harms the industry's overall health."
