"Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, the world's largest port by cargo throughput, is accelerating its development into a world-class seaport," said Tao Chengbo, chairman of Zhejiang Provincial Seaport Investment & Operation Group, Ningbo Zhoushan Port Group and Ningbo Zhoushan Port Co Ltd.
"This cooperation, anchored in automobile ro-ro transport, will drive coordinated innovation in logistics networks, green energy, and digital platforms — enhancing connectivity between China and the Arab world, and contributing to the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative."
