China's defense minister meets French counterpart

Chinese Minister of National Defense Dong Jun held talks with his French counterpart Sebastien Lecornu during a visit to France on Monday, the ministry said on Tuesday morning.
According to a statement from the ministry, the two sides had in-depth discussions on the relations between the two nations and militaries, the international and regional situation, and issues of mutual concern.
Both sides reached a consensus on enhancing practical exchanges and cooperation between the two militaries.
Prior to the meeting, Lecornu held a welcome ceremony for Dong.
