Why is China so safe and clean? Many overseas influencers raise such questions when visiting China. In an interview with China Daily, Shen Hao, a professor at the Communication University of China, explained that what amazes many overseas influencers is just normal for the Chinese.

On one hand, the West's long-standing negative portrayal of China has caused many to view China through filtered lens, and on the other hand, it is the relatively modern development of Chinese cities that truly deserves praise, said Shen.
