China coast guard patrols around Taiwan island

China Coast Guard said that its four vessel fleets conducted law enforcement patrols around Taiwan Island on Monday.
CCG spokesman Liu Dejun said in a brief statement on Monday morning that the patrols are "practical actions" taken to exercise legal control over Taiwan Island in accordance with the one-China principle.
