COMAC delivers C919s to domestic carriers

Plane manufacturer Commercial Aircraft Corp of China, or COMAC, delivered one plane each of its domestically-produced C919 model to Air China and China Southern Airlines on Wednesday, marking a new phase of multi-user operation for the aircraft.
C919 is China's first self-developed narrow-body jet and conducted its first commercial flight in May 2023. So far, it has booked more than 1,000 orders at home and abroad. Air China, China Southern and China Eastern earlier each purchased 100 C919 aircraft, with deliveries scheduled from 2024 to 2031.
