Dalian hosts inaugural Navy Cup International Sailing Regatta

The first Navy Cup International Sailing Regatta, hosted by the Chinese navy, concluded on Thursday in Dalian, Liaoning province.
Throughout the four-day event, 16 sailing teams from naval academies representing China and eight other nations, including Brazil, Chile, Italy and Russia, competed in the northeastern port city.
Military attaches from 35 foreign countries based in China were present at the opening ceremony held on Sunday.
The regatta's objective is to establish a platform for naval exchanges that encompasses training, competition, interaction and exhibition. Alongside the competition, various activities, such as tours of military facilities, were arranged to facilitate exchanges among naval academies.
