The 2024 China's brands favored by foreigners was announced during the China Brand Day events in Shanghai on May 10. Fifty brands were selected, according to Xinhua News Agency.

The announced brands are comprehensively evaluated based on four dimensions: online votes, product export volume, overseas presence via media and expert appraisal.

The selection results cover eight categories, including digital 3C products (computer, communications and consumer electronics), network services, food and beverage, beauty and personal care products, and automobile manufacturing.

Technology brands such as Huawei, DJI and Xiaomi were selected. Internet companies such as TikTok, Ctrip and Didi were among the list. Among the food and beverage brands, Wuliangye, Kweichow Moutai and Chacha were selected. Among automobile brands, BYD, Zeekr and Roewe were selected on the list. Beauty care brands selected included Pien Tze Huang, Flower Knows and Florasis, the report said.
