Canadian sci-fi writer Robert J. Sawyer claimed that China's technological development is way faster than that of the west, which has spurred the development of the sci-fi industry. Sawyer hailed China's sci-fi future as being bright at the 81st WorldCon Oct 18-22, in Chengdu, China.
