US 2024 election ad spending to top $10 billion, a record high

The 2024 US presidential election cycle will be the most expensive ever, with all political ad spending expected to reach $10.2 billion, which is 13 percent more than the 2020 presidential election cycle and 292 percent more than 2016, ad consulting firm AdImpact said in a new forecast released Tuesday.
