South Africa's Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa expressed his heartfelt appreciation to China for their support in addressing South Africa's electricity shortage.

Speaking at the China-South Africa New Energy Investment and Cooperation Conference on Tuesday, Ramokgopa emphasized that China stood out as the only country to extend assistance without any conditions.

Ramokgopa conveyed deep gratitude to China for their exceptional generosity and unwavering support, stating: "We want to say to the People's Republic of China that we're extremely grateful for the support given to the South African people, for the kind generosity, the helping hand you are extending." He further highlighted the unconditional aid extended by China, adding, "we've gone to all other embassies, you are the only ones that have come back to us saying 'we will assist (you) without any condition'".
