China welcomes Janet Yellen's visit

China welcomes United States Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen's visit to the country, the Ministry of Commerce said on Thursday.
The ministry commented after Yellen said she still hopes to visit China and meet with economic counterparts.
Shu Jueting, the ministry's spokeswoman, said it is important for both countries to maintain regular communication.
Chinese Vice-Premier Liu He held talks with Yellen in Zurich, Switzerland, in January.
