1 asymptomatic COVID-19 case found outside quarantine areas in Shanghai
Shanghai reported one asymptomatic COVID-19 infection outside quarantined zones on Monday, according to the city's health commission.
The case is a 22-year-old woman from Qibao township, Minhang district who recently returned to the city after a trip to another province. All close contacts have been quarantined and subjected to COVID-19 tests. The results available as of press time were all negative, according to the commission. The neighborhood the case lives in has also been designated a medium-risk zone.?
Shanghai has reported several new infections outside quarantine zones over the past week. Most of the cases are inbound visitors or residents who have returned from trips outside the city.?
