Third medical team from Guangzhou hospital leaves for HK

Fifteen medical professionals from First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University departed Guangzhou, Guangdong province, on Wednesday, for Hong Kong to help its fight against COVID-19.
The three doctors and 12 nurses are from several departments, including pulmonary and critical care medicine, cardiovascular medicine, neurology and stomatology. All are proficient in English and Cantonese.
Most of the team participated in mass nucleic acid testing last year in Guangzhou, Foshan, Shenzhen and Dongguan in Guangdong.
They are the third medical team to be dispatched from the hospital. A seven-member team arrived in Hong Kong two days earlier.
