Condolences sent over US tornadoes

President Xi Jinping sent a message of condolences to United States President Joe Biden on Tuesday over the recent tornadoes that hit several states in the country.
On behalf of the Chinese government and people, Xi expressed his sincere sympathies to the people in the US who suffered from the tornadoes.
According to media reports, at least six states-Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi and Tennessee-were hit by a string of deadly storms and tornadoes on Friday night, which caused more than 80 deaths and huge economic losses.
