Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group has set its goal to become one of the top two construction machinery manufacturers in the world by 2025, and XCMG Excavator Machinery Co Ltd, a core pillar of XCMG, has been making efforts.

On Sept 16, XCMG Excavator Machinery delivered its 200,000th excavator, an XE380DK hydraulic excavator, in Xuzhou, Jiangsu province, which means that XCMG has manufactured and sold 200,000 excavators within the shortest 13 years in the world. At the same time, XCMG is rewriting the competitive landscape of the world's excavator industry.

From the C series, D series, to the DK series, to the current MAX series excavators, the XCMG excavator completes product series and model spectrum coverage are leading the global industry.

The excavator manufacturer has also built the largest 700-ton hydraulic excavator in China. This has made China the fourth country in the world capable of manufacturing super tonnage hydraulic excavators following Germany, Japan and the United States.

"Internationalization is the main strategy of XCMG"

XCMG Chairman Wang Min noted that "Internationalization is XCMG's main strategy and all the other strategies involving technology, talents, innovation, market and management should serve the main strategy." The excavator manufacturer has constructed a global market expansion model featuring export, overseas plants, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and global research and development.

A global collaborative research and development system (RDM) has been gradually established, and 4 overseas manufacturing bases have been built in the United States, Brazil, India, and Uzbekistan. XCMG's international market influence has been continuously enhanced.

In April this year, more than 200 excavators manufactured by XCMG were exported to Europe, America and Australia, opening a new chapter for XCMG Excavator Machinery's global expansion in high-end market.

High-end market is synonymous with most advanced performance, technologies and most stringent regulations. As the touchstone of construction machinery industry, European, American and Australian markets attract the best brands and feature fierce market competition.

In 2012, XCMG has established Europe Reasarch Center, focusing on CE certification, and the R&D technology of excavator products to support the development of the excavator industry in Europe.

To date, more than 30 types of E/U series products ranging from small-sized to large-sized hydraulic excavators have been exported to Europe, America and Australia.
