March 27 is World Theater Day, first initiated in 1961 by the International Theater Institute to pay tribute to theatrical art and to bring awareness to the value and importance of theater in all its forms. In this video, professionals from the China National Opera & Dance Drama Theater share their reflections on the vital role theater plays in cultural exchanges, how drama can resonate with people and their personal engagement with stage art.
