NBA reports 48 positive COVID-19 tests

WASHINGTON - The NBA and the National Basketball Players Association announced on Wednesday that there were 48 positive tests for COVID-19 out of the 546 players tested from Nov 24 to Nov 30.
The round of tests for players came out as they returned to their teams ahead of the preseason which is to start on Dec 11. The regular season is scheduled to start on Dec 22.
The NBA said it will be testing all of its players daily throughout the season.
According to the health and safety protocols released by the NBA recently, a player will have to refrain from workouts for at least 10 days if he tests positive for COVID-19.
