HK lawmaker says mainland support 'vital' in containing pandemic

Hong Kong lawmaker Vincent Cheng Wing-shun spoke highly of the mainland's expertise in containing COVID-19, and deemed its help vital in the city's battle against the pandemic.
He also urged lawmakers to put people's well-being before politics during the Legislative Council's one-year extension.
