Mars fever boost for space exploration

China launched its first Mars probe Tianwen 1 on Thursday. It is due to reach the planet in about seven months.

The mission to Mars is much more demanding than that to the moon. China's Mars mission, which aims to map key zones of the surface of the planet, indicates the country's space science and technology has progressed rapidly. It is believed the mission will help to incubate a new wave of innovation in space technology.

It expresses the tenacity and perseverance of the Chinese nation in the pursuit of scientific truth.

It is good to see that Tianwen 1 has quickly grabbed people's attention after its launch, sparking discussions on topics related to spaceflight and the exploration of outer space. People's curiosity for the unknown and thirst for knowledge are obviously intrigued, whenever the country makes breakthroughs in space exploration. And astronauts, scientists and engineers are becoming role models for more and more young people.

In the face of great changes unseen in a century, only innovators will advance, only innovators will be strong, and only innovators will win. The "Mars fever" that has been sparked shows people's desire to know more about space, which requires more innovations to discover more about the universe we live in.
