6. Niu Yuliang, master of Chinese oral stunts

Believe it or not, a man can stage an orchestra concert without any instrument all on his own, just by using his mouth. 

Niu Yuliang, a Beijing native born in 1938, is such a man who has mesmerized numerous audiences in more than 50 countries with his unparalleled kouji (oral stunts) performances. 

To help better pass down the millennia-old folk art to future generations, aside from imparting his skills to his disciples, Niu even spent 32 years penning Chinese Oral Stunts, the country's first monograph on the folk art.
