One of the villagers lent Wang a beautiful Tibetan robe for her wedding gown. Zhang made a wedding ring with a bullet shell for his wife.
Then the couple planted a tree together to commemorate their love.
"I love him because he is a responsible man. He will have my full support stationed at the frontier, protecting our country," Wang said.
